Medical schools throughout the UK set their own entrance requirements, which can change from each yearly intake. Aside from your grades, most medical schools require Chemistry at A2 Level and taking biology at A2 will further increase your options as to where you can apply. You will also have to gain relevant medical work experience and some universities look favourably on those students with a non science based subject making up their third A2 level subject.
